Hegri music was born out of my early experiences of the “music industry”, which, even on a small scale here in Scotland have convinced me that life is too short and too vital to waste time working with anyone who doesn’t share with me some very basic human values and principles. My key aim now on every level is to work only with people I trust and respect and who respect me too: creative, energetic and committed people with big ideas and vision; people who get what I’m about and care about it too; who’re polite and considerate; and who do what they say they’ll do and do it well. Nothing flash really. Don’t know why any of us should settle for less.
So please be sure that every song that wings it’s way out into the world from hegri music, and every artistic and business hand that supports it on the way, is chosen with care and infused with the spirit of some very lovely and talented people.
PS The only business people I recommend working with are those mentioned in the connect/support team section of my site. If someone ever tells you they used to work with me ask yourself why they don’t anymore?
